Bridges Golf Course, located 17 km from the perimeter and McGillvary on Hwy 2, is currently seeking a Turf Equipment Technician/Mechanic for the upcoming golf season.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities and qualifications are but not limited to:
- Golf course equipment training, mechanical training or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to schedule preventative maintenance
- Strong record keeping and computer skills
- Maintain a positive work environment and the willingness to work as a part of a team
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems on both diesel and gas engines
- Familiarity with reel grinding and setup is beneficial, or the ability to learn
- Maintain shop area for safety and cleanliness
- Fabrication and welding skills would be an asset
- Perform other tasks and duties set forth by Superintendent
- Train staff on daily maintenance checks and procedures
